A small build update.. by Sven Young
Hello all..
In case you are interested, here is a small update on my Swedish M3 Scout Car used in the Congo at the link below. My apologies for it being in Swedish. Once the model is complete, I will post an article here on PW in English
http://www.ipmsstockholm.net/forum/works_/article.asp?data=8794054978_~d_20110228_123022_~t_Nu_f@229r_det_vara_klart@046@046_@040Olga_Belle@041_~a_Sven_Young.xml
The vehicle will be pulling a trailer which is currently in the “weathering workshop”.
Cheers,
Sven

He who waits for something good.. by Erik Gustavsson
..always waits for too long.
Some lucky people have already begun receiving their HobbyFan Pbv 302’s. This unlucky b***rd is still waiting for the box to finish it´s journey from Hong Kong to Sweden.
Whenever it arrives, however, you can be sure that it will be reveiwed on this site.
CV9040C is coming this year by Erik Gustavsson
It has been rumored for some time that the CV9040C, the up armoured version of the Strf 9040 that has seen international service in Liberia and currently in Afghanistan was on the way in 1/35.
Apparently Hobby Boss is showing off some cad-renderings at the Nuremberg Spielwarenmesse, as Kjell Svensson is tipsing us about here.
Sven’s next project by Erik Gustavsson
Just wanted to give the heads up on the latest project from the PW author, Sven Young. A tank trailer for his splendid M3 scout car in swedish kongo-service. I hope we’ll see both of them here soon. See the progress on the IPMS Stockholm website.
New site feature – Notices by Erik Gustavsson
Here we can post short newsflashes that we don´t want to display large on the main part of the front page. It can be used to link to interesting finds on the web, small news or comments.
We hope you´ll find them worth looking at.

where to get Metal Track links Can I use the Aber T-55 Storge box On top of the PBv401 and can also I use MR models Tools.
You should be able to buy the tracks at any place that sells Fruilmodel tracks. The set you want is the one for the 2S-1 Gvozdika SPH. There is also a resin set from Armo with new wheels and link-length resin tracks. The latter was available from Jadar.
I don´t know hos the storage box you refer to looks, but I don´t think I have seen anything on a T-55 that looks like the storage basket on the Pbv 401. The basket was quite simple to make. I used a plasticard sheet as a bottom, and built the framework using square crossection strips on which I glued some Aber PE net. If you haven´t found it already, you can read more about the porject here: http://www.plasticwarfare.se/?p=75
As far as the tools go, I believe I used tools from an Italeri Leopard 2 kit, but I guess anything goes.
