Euromilitaire 2005

In 2004, for various reasons, we missed EuroMilitaire. Imagine the amount of adrenaline built up for this years exhibition!
Like starved wolves we charged the Les Cliffs Hall in the morning of september 17. We weren’t let down; the traders offered everything imaginable connected to this hobby and the models on display were truly inspirational! The bad thing is that you easily get blinded by the tremendous skill in every object. When preparing the pictures for this update it’s very obvious that many models didn’t get the attention it deserved when watching them live, it’s a shame but you only got two days. Wish it was a week…
It was good to see the introduction of a new class; 16 Tank vignette. This will allow armour modellers to put their model in a more historic context and add a few figures.
Marijn van Gils won Best in Show with his fabolous “A hurried descent”. Very, very well deserved.
The Southcliffe bar was crowded as usual. You could easily cut the air around the pooltable with a knife. The opportunity to meet all the guys you usually only exchange mail with over the year is perhaps the best part of the whole show. Thank you all for making it a fantastic weekend!
So until next year; have a look at this collection of images once in the while to get the feeling. Smell the resin and glue, the spicy Indian buffet on sunday night and the Carlsberg in the Southcliffe bar.

See you in 2006 2007,

We have divided the pictures in to three different cathegories:

Figures »
Armour »
