It was a while ago there was any activity on this site. Unfortunately my Pbv 301 project, and any other modelling project for that matter, has come to a stand still. This is because I have had too much other stuff to do, and because the summer has finally hit Sweden. If this summer will be like a typical swedish summer, then I guess there will be some modelling done eventually, during the rainy days.
A short update on the state of my Pbv 301 project
I realised I had to move the boxes mounted on the left side of the hull, since they weren´t exactly lined up. One of the toolboxes was obstructing the space needed by the roof hatches when opened. So I removed all the items that I hade glued on to the hull side and sanded away all marks. Then I puttyed the area to make it smoother, which was a mistake. The solvent in the putty made the thin plasticard soft and it bulged inwards, so I think I have to remove the plasticard or sandwich a new part on top of the old. I haven´t decided yet.
