AFV club is my favorite manufacturer at the moment.
This is because they release one Centurion kit after another, a vehicle long overseen by the manufacturers.
They also releases detailing sets and this review is about the Hush puppy tracks.
The Hush puppy is equipped with three rubber pads on each track shoe and gives the vehicle a smoother ride than the original all steel tracks.
The noice level is also redused.
Hush puppy tracks was used by Britain, Canada, Denmark, Holland, Israel and Switzerland among others.
In the box you get some 220 separate track links and the instructions says to use 108 links for each track.
That is correct according to the the manual but I have not measured on the kit.
The links looks good and accurate and are easily assembled.
There’s some flash on them and every link has two ejector pin marks.
It will reqiure some work to sand and fill them but I think they will be covered by the road wheels so I probably leave them as they are.
I assembled one track while watching tv the other night and it took me a couple of hours. A bit boring but nothing you can’t handle.
The tracks are flexible and can be positioned nicely around the wheels.
I bought mine from Lucky Model and as usual the service was superb and delivery quick.
The tracks are $12.99USD and shipping to Sweden is $4.62USD.
Well worth the cost in my opinion.
