A small build update.. by Sven Young
Hello all..
In case you are interested, here is a small update on my Swedish M3 Scout Car used in the Congo at the link below. My apologies for it being in Swedish. Once the model is complete, I will post an article here on PW in English
The vehicle will be pulling a trailer which is currently in the “weathering workshop”.

Still waiting.. by Erik Gustavsson
My package from Lucky Models have now been out there, alone in the world, for a whole month. I hate this waiting..
He who waits for something good.. by Erik Gustavsson
..always waits for too long.
Some lucky people have already begun receiving their HobbyFan Pbv 302’s. This unlucky b***rd is still waiting for the box to finish it´s journey from Hong Kong to Sweden.
Whenever it arrives, however, you can be sure that it will be reveiwed on this site.
CV9040C is coming this year by Erik Gustavsson
It has been rumored for some time that the CV9040C, the up armoured version of the Strf 9040 that has seen international service in Liberia and currently in Afghanistan was on the way in 1/35.
Apparently Hobby Boss is showing off some cad-renderings at the Nuremberg Spielwarenmesse, as Kjell Svensson is tipsing us about here.Sven’s next project by Erik Gustavsson
Just wanted to give the heads up on the latest project from the PW author, Sven Young. A tank trailer for his splendid M3 scout car in swedish kongo-service. I hope we’ll see both of them here soon. See the progress on the IPMS Stockholm website.

Hi
I’m working on a Swedish Leopard you can see pics on my site. Thanks to the guys that provided pictures here and on Prime Portal. It would have been difficult to get the detail right with out the pictures.
Hi Erik,
haply I have found your page =)
I´m working as a freelance military photojournalist and in the past time I have published some books about modern military subjects like dutch, norwegian and danish army (published by http://www.Tankograd.com) – maybe you know our magazins?
At this time I´m hardly work on my new project. It is about modern swedish army! =) During a lot of trips in Norway and Sweden I have taken some good pictures of swedish military equipment. But I´m still searching for some pictures of swedish CV9040C and RG-32 Galten. In one of your posts I have seen some nice shots of CV9040C in Afghanistan…do you know who is the owner of this pics and may is it possible to use some of these pictures for my new book?
Hope to hearing from you soon.
Best regards
Clemens Niesner
Hej,
Hello Erik,
very nice site you have with interesting information.
I just added your site to the link section of Scalemates
hope to see you there as well
Best regards
Tim
Hej
Tomas
Hi Eric,
Really nice site. I’m about to embark on construction of the 1/72 scale Airfix Tigermoth as a Swedish Airforce trainer. Would appreciate advice on where I can purchase the correct Swedish markings, including the three black crowns on a white circular background.
Once the Tigermoth is finished I have the Airfix 1/72 scale Bristol Bulldog which I want to build as a J7.
Thanks!
Craig
Hi Craig
I’d look at Rebell hobby (http://www.rebell.com), but I did, and could not find exactly what you’re after. So my next tip is to post your question at the IPMS Stockholm forum. I think someone should be able to point you in the right direction there.
http://www.ipmsstockholm.se/phpBB3/viewforum.php?f=2
I built the Tiger Moth in my youth, and I remember finishing it as a Swedish a/c, but I can’t remember if the markings were included in the swedish boxing, or if they came from elsewhere.
I am glad you liked the site, good luck with your projects!

Thanks Eric,
I can see that Rebell Hobby will be a useful future source for me for Swedish aircraft kits. I’ll try the IPMS forum as you suggested.
Thanks again
Craig
Hej,
//Johan
Nej, tyvärr. Inte vad jag vet.
Men vi kan ju alltid hoppas.
Med vänlig hälsning,
Erik G
